In 2023, the Michelin Guide awarded Karma a Bib Gourmand - its recognition for restaurants serving exceptional food at moderate prices - one of only a handful given to Indian restaurants in Vancouver.
The kitchen works across regions rather than sticking to one: Punjabi tandoor and butter chicken alongside South Indian Chicken Madras and Chettinad, Goan vindaloo, and Mughlai kormas. Everything is cooked to order, so you set the spice level - mild, medium, hot, or Indian hot.

Nine vegan curries, nine vegetarian curries, tandoori vegetables and paneer tikka from the clay oven, plus dals, chaats and breads. Vegan and gluten-free dishes are marked on every page of the menu, and because each curry is cooked to order the kitchen can adjust dairy, cream and spice level for your table.

At Karma we cook North and South Indian food with fresh ingredients and traditional spices - classics like butter chicken, palak paneer and tandoori chicken, regional specialities like Chicken Madras and Goan fish curry, and a large vegetarian and vegan selection. Every curry is cooked to order, and gluten-free and vegan dishes are marked throughout.
The full bar runs alongside it: mango lassi and Kingfisher through to the Mumbai Mule and the Chai Negroni.
Every curry is cooked to order on four levels - mild, medium, hot and Indian hot. Our medium is built for balance; if you want real heat, ask for Indian hot and the kitchen will cook it that way.
We seat Parties up to 34; buy-outs of the 80-seat room, 92 with the patio.
