Had such an amazing dinner at karma indian bistro with my friends! ❤️

Everything was honestly so good — from the appetizers and drinks to the main dishes. The spice levels were absolutely on point, and every dish was full of flavour. 🌶️✨

What stood out the most was the service. The staff were so attentive and kept checking in to make sure everything was going well without ever being overwhelming. And a special shoutout to the owner, who personally came to our table to greet us and make sure we were enjoying our experience. That personal touch really made the evening even more special.

I also work here as a food runner, so this was actually my first time experiencing from the guest side — and I can genuinely say I had such a wonderful dining experience. ❤️

Had a great experience. Such good food, everything we ordered was perfect, especially the tandoori chicken and veggies. Our server Avneet was amazing and so was Manpreet. As the manager of Homa Restaurant, I truly enjoyed the Chicken Biryani, Caesar Salad, and Steak. Everything was delicious and beautifully prepared. Stressed?  Don't lean on big pharma try big Karma! Karma Indian Bistro

Upon arriving at Karma Indian Bistro I realized that I had messed up the reservation and the rest of our party would not be arriving for another half hour... no worries however as the staff at Karma were understanding and accommodating, this warmth and care would continue throughout the evening setting the stage for what would truly be a memorable dining experience and earning Karma a 7.52 for customer care

While going through the arduous and at times tedious meetings minutes we decided to order a round of Kingfisher beers which were unfortunately out of stock,  but no worries as it was recommended to us to try the Karma house lager a wickedly strong 9% beer that would set the mood for the feast to come! This had the boys feeling like we were in good hands (and a little buzzed) earning a score of 7.48 for service.

The vibes in the restaurant were immaculate, we had another large party celebrating a birthday (our table even joined in to sing happy birthday at one point) as well as couples on dates and friends meeting for tasty food and drink. This earned Karma a strong 8.22 out of 10 for atmosphere, and demonstrated to us at the O.C.C that this restaurant was clearly a neighborhood fixture.

As the food started to arrive it was plainly clear to us that we were right where we belonged as tasty curries and spiced meats filled the table.
In particular our party really enjoyed the Fish Malabari but realistically every morcel I tasted that night felt not just well made but well plated and presented earning a 8.10 for quality .

As we slowed down, stomachs full of spicy curries and strong beer and we were able to see the bill, we were pleasantly surprised by the value, despite at times allowing ourselves to order with our spoiled bellies the final bill seemed more than fair and frankly a bargain for how much we had consumed earning a potent 8.0 for value.

With the OCC Vancouver chapter less than one year old to this point this experience at Karma ranks at the top of our experiences so far.  Unfortunately our NEO (Naan executive officer) who determines the rating for the bread was unable to attend to be present for the birth of his first child.

In conclusion the OCC ( Oakham Curry Club) Vancouver chapter has scored Karma Indian Bistro with a final score of 7.86 which is the highest score thus far and also makes it the front runner for the CHOTY (Curry House of the Year).
